Resolutions for Pet Guardians!

Well, the New Year is Here!

How many have made resolutions?  And how many resolutions include your loved four legged family member?

Examples of New Years Resolutions for Pets:

  • I will brush Fluffy's teeth every day so we can enjoy an extra 2 years of life together.
  • I will make sure Maka gets an extra walk every day so she is lean and healthy and has lower chances of diabetes, arthritis, and kidney disease.
  • I will present simple training challenges for Maui every day coupled with a lot of praise so he can feel important, useful, and have healthy self esteem.
  • I will feed Sheba lower carbohydrate, healthier food cooked at lower temperatures so she will have less body inflammation and carcinogen exposure.
  • I will not smoke around Petey.
  • I will not give Snookums junk food, instead providing lean meat treats like cooked chicken breast or colored veggies (no onions grapes or raisins please).
  • I will give Charlie a gentle massage once a week since he is over 7 and may have joint discomfort.
  • I will insure Bongo does not get heartworm disease, fleas or ticks by giving her monthly preventative.
  • I will do something new with Doodle every week to keep him active.
  • I will get Makena's lump checked to be sure there are no cancer cells.
  • I will be kind, compassionate and caring at all times to my loved pet.
