Pets do the strangest things. And eat the strangest things too, especially around holiday season! Here's an example...find the bottle cap!
Holiday Risks for Pets:
- tinsel or other christmas tree decorations
- ribbons from gifts
- baked goods or chocolate (toxic)
- Christmas tree needles or branches
- tin foil or wrappers
- turkey, lamb or ham bones
If your dog or cat begins vomiting, has less appetite, or develops soft stool, prompt veterinary care is important! And it is critical to remember that a pet able to pass stool can still have a foreign object in the tummy or intestine.
